// Want a tattoo of someones art?? In my opinion, here is a perfect example of how to address an artist you are interested in, mainly for the second 1/2 : //

“Firstly i’d like to say you are an amazing artist, i was just casually scrolling down my news feed on facebook when a tattoo site had uploaded a picture of your ‘Iris’ from your tatboard account and i instantly fell in love. She is so beautiful and i couldn’t stop staring at her, then i said i have to have her! I went to your website, followed all the links and bought her on Etsy ^_^

so basically i’m sending this email to ask if i could have your permission to have this beautiful lady tattooed on me (i was thinking on my top thigh but i will talk to my artist and see what he would recommend) I have always respected the works of an artist and I know some are very protective of their work. If you say no i can respect your decision and just keep her on my wall. But im really hoping you’ll say yes. Thank you for your time in reading this and keep up the amazing work

From Melissa.”

Melissa has made my day. Thank you for the respect and love and I can’t wait to see her new ink.
I know many artists don’t go for this but personally I find it the highest compliment an artist can receive.
All I humbly ask is a donation so I can keep creating and (I will send you a signed print) and/ or post it on my wall

Lets all share the love and art.

Even though it displayed anti-miscegenation, I still loved this scene as a child.

Could you paint this in kindergarten?

Lol, have fun with your degree of not fun, your future monotonous career and midlife crisis!

Art is a career just as much as any other job. I see degrees in maths and physics a waste of time, because yes, they might find a new planet or a new number, but it is never going to be any more important than a new found Picasso or as iconic as the McDonalds logo.
A successful career is based around you using your personal skills to your best ability, not whether you think it is a form of study or not.

Yes… truly worthless. Obviously. LOOK at this you poor uneducated person.
